I have the right combination between hard analytic skills and interpersonal skills to help you navigate your changing life.


Analytic skills:  I help people buy or sell their home more profitably 99.5% of the time.  I know because I keep a scorecard to track my results.  While I'm not a licensed real estate appraiser, I use the same skills a real estate appraiser uses to pinpoint the value of a property.  

Buyers:  I use my analytic skills to help buyers save money.  Before placing a purchase offer, I always generate a "buyers analysis" for each client to determine the fair market value of the property they intend to purchase.  That knowledge informs the negotiating strategy to maximize success. 

Sellers: Knowing the fair market value of your property will help you sell faster and more profitably.  Knowing the value of your largest asset helps you plan for the future whether it's knowing when to take advantage of a sellers market, making strategic upgrades to make your home more marketable, or just being able to contest your tax reassessment.  

​Interpersonal Skills:  For 25 years I worked at the company I built, Asia Business Group, successfully selling high-tech products in Japan, the world’s most demanding market. My work there required a close attention to detail, superior customer service, exacting quality, and continuous improvement.

To build a thriving business I developed lasting relationships with my clients. I listened to them. I asked questions until I could negotiate and effectively communicate their needs to their business partners in a way that would be understood and ultimately accepted.  And I did this in both Japanese and English.

Even when buyers and sellers speak the same language, it's as if they actually are speaking two different languages.  My ability to listen, translate, and negotiate between the two are critical to bringing a transaction to closure.​
Many years ago I choose to live in the OPRF area because of its beautiful and historic housing stock.  I bought, rehabbed, and sold my first home in Oak Park before flipping was even a thing.  I love the area’s proximity to Chicago, Lake Michigan and all the cultural and recreational opportunities that affords.  Now, living in River Forest across from the Forest Preserve I’m a mere 12 miles from the loop and yet nearly every morning can see wildlife roaming the woods nearby.
